Cross-platform application and web service Dropbox syncs and backs up files between computers and the Dropbox servers on the Internet. Free users get 2 Gigabyte storage with their accounts.
Dropbox places a folder on the local computer system to automatically synchronize files between computers and the web. File access is also available directly on the Dropbox website.
One of the problems that Dropbox users face is that it is relatively cumbersome to copy and move new files to their Dropbox folders.

The Dropbox shell extension is currently only available in German, enough feedback from international users might convince the developer to produce a multi-language version of the program.
A total of six options are provided in the Dropbox context menu.
The Dropbox folder has to be selected manually on first use. The application stores the Dropbox folder information in the Windows Registry to speed up the copying and moving of files in future sessions.
Dropbox Shell Tools is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It has been released in an early (0.1) build. Users should consider backing up their data and / or creating a System Restore point before they install the software. (via Caschy)
